TiNDLE Foods, a plant-based chicken startup, will unveil its latest offerings, TiNDLE Stuffed Chicken and TiNDLE Barista Oat Milk, at Natural Products Expo West 2024

TiNDLE Foods will present its TiNDLE Stuffed Chicken with initial options like Chicken Parmigiana, which will be served at the trade show, and Garlic & Herb. The product’s outer layer has a crispy breadcrumb coating, while the interior allows for customization with various seasonings and sauces. The company cites that future flavor releases will include Buffalo Ranch, Katsu Curry, and Tikka Masala.

Adding to its portfolio, TiNDLE Foods also introduces its first dairy product, TiNDLE Barista Oat Milk. Developed in collaboration with expert baristas, the company claims this premium oat-based milk showcases exceptional steaming, frothing, and blending performance. The milk has a smooth and creamy finish and is crafted from a simple base of whole oats with no added sugars.

Timo Recker, CEO at TiNDLE Foods since Andre Menzes stepped down in December, stated, “By introducing more innovative foods into the mix, including our entry into the dairy category, we remain steadfast in our mission to transition towards a more sustainable food system.

“As a multi-category brand, our aim is to continue strengthening the sector, and our new product offerings, TiNDLE Stuffed Chicken and Barista Oat Milk provide consumers with a variety of delicious plant-based options across multiple aisles and touchpoints within the grocery store.”

TiNDLE Foods has steadily increased its US retail footprint, securing partnerships with various brick-and-mortar retailers and distributors. The company announced that it has expanded its availability to regional retailer Price Chopper Supermarkets on the East Coast, adding to its existing presence in outlets such as Giant Eagle, Berkeley Bowl, BESTIES Vegan Paradise, and Orchard Grocer.

The company’s recently launched TiNDLE Breakfast Sausage is now officially available to retailers, following its foodservice debut last year. This product is the first of TiNDLE’s products to be entirely developed and manufactured in North America, and the launch was kickstarted via a collaboration with Mr. Charlie’s in Los Angeles.  

Expansion into the Northeast

SVP Business Development and Managing Director of the US at TiNDLE Foods, JJ Kass, commented on the retail expansion: “We’re delighted to announce Price Chopper as our latest retail partner, supporting our expansion into the Northeast and broadening access to our convenient and tasty foods that make saving the planet easy, enjoyable, and delicious.”

TiNDLE Stuffed Chicken is set to be available for order in Spring 2024, while additional details about the rollout of TiNDLE Barista Oat Milk will be released later in 2024.
