A new vegetable vending machine called Bramat has been opened in Brno-Řečkovice, Czech Republic to meet increasing demand.
The machine co-developed by Petr Grünwald stocks three and five kg bags of potatoes, onions and mixed vegetable packets used for making soup. The demand is especially high among Greek immigrant families in the Brno area.
The Bramat, which costs CZK 500 000 per unit is monitored remotely to check stock levels that are replenished once a day. More machines are being rolled out to other cities in the country.
