borostos.blogspot.com

There’s a nationwide recall on Bobo’s Peach Oat Bars, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. This is because the product may contain coconut, an undeclared allergen.

The oat bars were sold across the U.S. through retail stores and in online orders via the brand’s website. The recalled bars have a lot code 3J27111 on the front of the wrapper with best by date 7/23/24. They may also come in cartons with the following lot codes and dates: 3J21111 with best by date 7/17/2024 and 3K01111 with best by date 7/28/2024. The 3-ounce bars may be sold as a single bar or in a box of 12.

While no illnesses are connected to this recall, those with the impacted product should return it to where it was purchased and request an exchange or full refund if there is an allergy concern. If you have a tree nut allergy, you could experience a severe or life-threatening allergic reaction when consuming this product, like anaphylaxis

Common symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, nausea or vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and, in extreme cases, tightness of the throat and cardiac arrest. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms after eating one of these bars, call 911 immediately.

For more information about this recall, contact info@eatbobos.com or call 303-938-1977 from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. MDT.
