Raw, frozen chicken and vegetable potstickers have been recalled because they may be contaminated with pieces of hard plastic.
Ajinomoto Foods North America Inc., of Hayward, Calif., is recalling about 33,567 pounds of the potstickers, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The potstickers may be contaminated by “clear flexible and hard plastic.”
The recalled product details are:
- Ling Ling Potstickers Chicken and Vegetable, 4.2-pound plastic bag, lot code 1911203 and a “best buy” date of Oct. 22, 2022. The product has the establishment number P20069 printed on the back of the bag.
“The problem was discovered after the firm received consumer complaints reporting clear flexible and hard plastic in the chicken and vegetable potsticker products,” the FSIS said in a news release.
The potstickers can be returned to the place of purchase.
