(WHTM) — The Quaker Oats Company has announced that it is expanding its December recall of various granola bars and cereal products due to the risk of salmonella contamination.
The expanded recall, announced Thursday, January 11, now includes additional cereals, bars, and snacks.

The recalled products were sold throughout the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan.
The FDA is telling consumers to check their pantries for any of the products and dispose of them.
Consumers in possession of the recalled products can also contact Quaker Consumer Relations between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday at 1-800-492-9322 or by going online to www.QuakerRecallUSA.com for more information or reimbursement.
