London-based Moma Foods was founded in 2006 by Tom Mercer and is a ‘modern challenger brand’ in the porridge market with its British jumbo oats. It has recently diversified into the plant-based milk sector, and is now the UK’s third largest oat milk brand. The company also produces a range of low sugar granola and bircher muesli branded products.
A.G. Barr owns beverage brands such as Irn-Bru, Rubicon and Funkin: with the investment in Moma representing its first move outside drinks.
