"This spring, we probably did triple of what we normally do in vegetable sales," said store owner Harold Grandy.
Grandy has a couple of theories as to why sales have been so much higher compared to years past.
"I think with people being home more, spending more time in the garden. I think people are even concerned maybe with distribution in food supplies," said Grandy.
Peppers and tomatoes are two of the most popular selling items the greenhouse has, but they have even seen a rise in vegetables that don't normally sell as much.
"People have also been buying a lot of unusual stuff they don't buy as much normally, like brussels sprouts," Grandy said.
The store has adjusted their store hours and are allowing people over the age of 60 to shop first starting at 9 a.m. for one hour.
The store then opens to the general public after that.
