Ceres Global Ag Corp. received subpoenas from the U.S. Department of Justice focusing on trading in the oat market, the company said in a brief statement late Friday.
The company, based in Minneapolis, also received a voluntary document request from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and is cooperating with both investigations, it said in the statement.
- Certain current and former personnel have also received subpoenas to produce documents and other records.
- Ceres says the particular focus is on its oat market trades from 2016 to 2019.
