ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - For one day only, The Plant Connection is holding a vegetable sale.
A wide variety of veggie and herb plants will be featured at the Division St. greenhouse tomorrow.
The plants are mature enough to be consumed around mid-summer.
But before giving your plants a permanent home in the ground, shop owner Linda Andriacchi says to be mindful of its environment.
“They’re pretty much ready to be planted in the ground, but you have to acclimate them because you have to remember they’ve been in a greenhouse. So you have to take your time and get them used to the bright sun. You can’t put them out in the bright sun right away. The best thing to do is have them sit out in morning sun for about a week.”
The plant sale is tomorrow from 9 to 3.
Andriacchi will be available to answer any questions you might have about gardening and successfully growing vegetables.
