Oat milk has been a chief contributor in consumers’ gravitation toward a more plant-based diet. The trend continues to grow, and HP Hood-owned Planet Oat knows this well. The company is rolling out some new offerings this month including coffee creamers, unsweetened oatmilk, and new frozen dessert flavors. With so many oat-based options in its portfolio, this is one brand adding tremendous value to retail shelves.

Chris Ross, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Research and Development, HP Hood“As oatmilk and other plant-based products continue to gain popularity, Planet Oat saw Unsweetened Oatmilk and Oatmilk Coffee Creamers as natural next steps as part of the brand portfolio,” said Chris Ross, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Research and Development at HP Hood. “With so much innovation and choice in the plant-based milk category, consumers are leaning into that innovation and looking for what’s next. The goal was to create products that are a direct response to consumers’ needs and preferred usages: delicious, creamy, and that excel in performance. That is a high standard but we are comparing against what the consumer is looking for, and we bring that standard into every container of Planet Oat.”

Oat milk continues to be a popular trend as consumers seek alternative plant-based options for their breakfast cereal, afternoon coffee, and even desserts. Planet Oat’s newest offerings create endless possibilities for creative plant-based foodies.

The company’s new Unsweetened Oat Milk contains zero grams of sugar and 45 calories per serving, offering a great source of calcium, vitamins A&D, and available in Original and Vanilla flavors. Both of these offerings are touted as dairy, lactose, gluten, soy, peanut, and tree nut free. Following the launch of Planet Oat Frozen Desserts last Spring, the company is now launching Mint Fudge Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which are plant-based, non-dairy, and vegan.

Be sure to keep Planet Oat on your radar as you continue to build out your plant-based footprint.
